Disha Patani has strongly condemned a publication which has printed a "news" item that she walked away from the sets of a film because Hrithik Roshan tried to become too friendly with her. Disha was not only enraged but she seemed apologetic to Hrithik after he was dragged into the controversy unnecessarily.

After Hrithik Roshan slammed a report for claiming that Disha Patani opted out of a project because of his "flirtatious" behaviour, the Baaghi 2 actress has come out in his defence, saying that he is a "dignified" person. The actress also dismissed reports as "childish and irresponsible gossip".

It’s a 10-day Bulgarian shooting for Bollywood’s most recent ‘together’ couple. Ranbir Kapoor, euphoric after the  spectacular success of Sanju, will  now fly down to Bulgaria for  the  shooting of his best friend Ayan Mukerjee’s Brahmastra.

Ranbir will be joined by special friend Alia Bhatt as well as Amitabh Bachchan who are starring in this venture, along with producer Karan  Johar and Tollywood superstar Nagarjuna who is making a comeback to Hindi films with this movie.

Interestingly the Bachchans are holidaying in Europe for the FIFA World Cup while Ranbir was  in Paris to bring in his mother Neetu Singh’s 60th  birthday. They now head  to Bulgaria where Ayan is scheduled to shoot high-octane action scenes with  Mr Bachchan, Ranbir and Nagarjuna

Like it or not, we are a nation of superstitious people.  We believe in luck and destiny as much as we do in hard work and determination, if not more. Ranbir Kapoor’s talent was never in question. But still all those around him are talking about how “lucky” Alia is for Ranbir.

A  friend  of  the talented actor says, “It could be  a mere coincidence  that Ranbir’s career’s biggest  hit so far has happened after his friendship with  Alia blossomed. Let’s just put it this way. Sanjay Dutt and Alia Bhatt have put a smile on the Kapoor family’s collective face.” Apparently, every member  of  the Kapoor family including Ranbir, wants  Alia to be Mrs Ranbir Kapoor. Frankly, it would be  a miracle if that happens. I had known Ranbir closely for some time during and after his debut in Saawariya. He was always a ladies’ man, committed to not being committed to any one  woman  for too long. 

When I got to know Ranbir he was in an intense relationship with a divorcee. “I can’t live without her,” he told me and  also confessed  his mother was against  the relationship.
He  then disappeared for a long period. When he called again, I immediately inquired about his love life. But Ranbir had moved on. The angst of  the  forbidden  relationship erased, he was into  a fresh relationship.

Since then he has been in several relationships, none of which has worked out. Both Deepika Padukone  and   Katrina Kaif were  intensely devoted to Ranbir and I, suspect, they would have gladly  given up their careers  to be Mrs Ranbir Kapoor, just as  Ranbir’s mother Neeta Singh had done when she gave  it all  up to marry Rishi Kapoor. But God and Ranbir Kapoor—in that order-- had other plans. If his relationship with Alia indicates an altar-ed state then  we  have a  lot in Alia to admire. She would succeed  in doing what many other equally strong and self-willed  women before her have failed to do.

But would it really happen? At the moment, looking for permanence  in  the Ranbir-Alia  alliance is like looking for  the real Sanjay Dutt in the Sanju bio-pic. There is evidence, substantial evidence,  that this time it’s  for  keeps. Alia, say insiders, has her heart set on  a wedding. But with Ranbir, you  never know.

There is a new development in the ongoing conflict regarding who will play music baron Gulshan Kumar in the lavish bio-pic that his son Bhushan Kumar is all set to produce. Subhash Kapoor will direct the film that has been in discussion ever since it was announced. 

The project suffered a setback of sorts when Akshay Kumar opted out even returning the signing amount he had accepted for the project. When Aamir Khan came on board as co-producer there were strong rumours of Aamir taking over the part.

But latest developments suggest that the star selected to play Gulshan Kumar is none other than Ranbir Kapoor.
According to sources close to the development Aamir has personally requested Ranbir to step in. "After the way Ranbir owned the part of Sanjay Dutt in Raju Hirani's Sanju it is felt by both Aamir and Bhushan Kumar that Ranbir is the best fit for the bio-pic".

Is  the Ranveer Singh-Deeepika Padukone marriage really happening at Italy’s Lake Como?  Close friends  of the couple say the venue is  “undecided”.

“I haven’t heard anything about  Lake Como, though they are definitely getting married  in November-December. From what I gather  the wedding is likely to take  place  in  India, either Mumbai or Bengaluru,” says  a filmmaker-friend  of  couple.

At  the heart  of  the  wedding-venue  debate is  the  question of how  geo-political nationalism. Apparently after Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli came  into  serious flak for  their  exotic NRI wedding, Sonam Kapoor and  Anand Ahuja changed their  mind  about a foreign wedding and opted  for amchi Mumbai. Earlier Sonam was rumoured to have planned an exotic Switzerland wedding. But the late Sridevi's death as well as the logistical issues in organising such a huge ceremony allegedly led the family to shift the venue entirely to Mumbai. 

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are one of the most loved couples in Bollywood but do you know where Abhishek proposed to the gorgeous Ash? Well, it was at the Toronto Film Festival! 

This sweet detail was revealed by none other than Abhishek at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival where his latest film, the Anurag Kashyap-directed Manmarziyaan, co-starring Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu is being premiered. According to a report in Hindustan Times, Abhishek joked "The last time I was at TIFF, I proposed to my wife (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan). She has warned me not to do any such thing this time.”

The other star cast of the film were also there in the film which was received well at the festival. There was considerable confusion about where Abhishek had actually proposed Aishwarya, thankfully all that has been cleared now.
